Pero Dios estaba al tanto de lo que pasaba, porque Dios es omnisciente y tiene además un gran sentido del humor. Entonces resolvió hacerles una jugada, y decidió que él naciera en la tierra y ella en venus; mas él todas las noches, se subía a la cumbre de un peñón, junto al mar y sin saber porque, buscaba en el cielo a venus y suspiraba y suspiraba, y hacia versos y canciones, y cantaba;

God created a man and a woman; they grew and loved each other until death. They were born again, one in Rome and the other in Buenos Aires; years passed and they saw each other again, and they loved each other until death. And they were born again, once, twenty thousand times more; but somehow they always found each other again in the world (what sticky karma, right?) and under different skies, and in different regions; the point is that they saw each other time and again and always loved each other, until death.
But God was aware of what was happening, because God is omniscient and also has a great sense of humor. So He decided to play a trick on them, and decided that he would be born on Earth and she on Venus; yet every night, he climbed to the top of a cliff by the sea and, without knowing why, searched the sky for Venus and sighed and sighed, and wrote verses and songs, and sang.
Centuries passed, dozens of centuries, and regardless of the form or star where God dispersed them, they always sought each other out, with a certain something... with an anguish... with an immense desire... with a longing... with a void... One day, God decided to call them to His holy presence; one was on Mars and the other in the constellation of Gemini. So they arrived before the presence of God, but as soon as they saw each other, the two scamps ran at full speed and embraced and kissed, and then she whispered something in his ear, and they kissed again. What barbarians; or rather, how evolved, kissing right in front of God Himself.
Do not be scandalized, because it was a pure kiss, yes, a pure kiss; there was no blood, nor flesh, nor anything, because when one arrives before God, one carries neither blood, nor flesh, nor anything, because the spirit is light. The point is that they kept kissing, the kiss was going to last a long time, but God waited for it to conclude to address them; and since God is a most loving Father and has infinite patience, He waited. However, He noticed that they were pressing so closely together that their outlines began to fade, fade, until the dividing lines were erased. Then God took the chalkboard and said: “One plus one equals?” At that moment He looked at them again and said: “Ah, this cannot be; yesterday one plus one was two, and now one plus one is one larger and brighter,” and He became thoughtful.
When He looked up again, He no longer saw them; He saw nothing (the rascal, when they first kissed, had told him: “I know where we are going to hide so that they can never separate us again”). And God stood up very nervous, and felt that He was no longer limited, that He had grown; of course, since they had gone inside His heart and curled up there; naturally, the poor Lord was going to find them.
